Is there such a thing as a peaceful ghost?  As we dig into The Ghost In You by The Psychedelic Furs, a song that doesn’t necessarily scare you but haunt the jammer with thoughts.  With lyrics like “The ghost in you, She don’t fade,” have left me thinking what does it all mean.  Is it about somebody’s spirit never fading or maybe the more haunting spirit that haunts the one it loves!

The song was released in May of 1984.  It’s a good jam on a foggy October drive.  Songwriting brothers Richard Butler’s Vocals and Tim Butler’s Bass make the song even more memorable.  This Sunday, October 13th the band returns to Chicago’s Salt Shed.  I might just find the Ghost In Me.
