The Edgar Winter Group released Frankenstein on February 21, 1973.  A track that the first time I hear it was on the Waynes World Soundtrack.  For me a song that truly is a Frankenstein of a monster.  I’ve played quite the many air instruments as it’s blasted loudly through my headphones.  The song was created through many jams that was then spliced together into the final cut at just under 5 minutes.  Edgar Winter played many of the instruments on the track including keyboards and alto saxophone.

With Ronnie Montrose on guitar and Rick Derringer on as producer giving the track a fresh sheen.  The song is describes as many different styles all in one.  Often listed as a top ten rock instrumental, it fits perfectly on any spooky playlist.
