Misfits Halloween was released as the band’s 5th single on October 31st,  1981.  Written by lead singer Glenn Danzig and released on Plan 9 Records which is an amazing Ed Wood reference.  This was the first release by the band that features their iconic Famous Monsters Of Filmland logo as well as being just called simply Misfits.  At just under 2 minutes this song is a must that is a hummer-along on any fall day.  One thing you can tell is that the can loves Halloween and wrote a great track to represent that fact.
