Ghost Town by the amazing band The Specials, was released in June of ’81. Even though the song has Ghost in the title it is more of the Scariness of everyday life. The song has an impending doom throughout making it a scary listen to any music fan. All the added instrument’s sounds in the song make the song’s spooky edge even edgier.
The music video is a definite much watch for any musical fan. It features the bands Bass player Horace Panter driving the band around London in a 1961 Vauxhall Cresta. The original Ghost Town car can be seen (and sat in) at the Coventry Music Museum. Check it out and add it to your Halloween playlist!
