The Hookup On Music Presents 31 Horror Tunes For Halloween Day 16: The Stranglers- Skin Deep

The Stranglers needed to be picked based on the scary band name alone.  But when digging through their catalog, a track from Aural Sculpture from November of ’84 was the go to pick.  Skin Deep starts off with a great beat that will have you humming.  Take some time to check out the music video which is loaded with crazy visuals like the band removing crazy face masks and a creepy snake slithering around.

Love the drummers name in Jet Black.  What’s scary cool about a track like Skin Deep is that there’s an amazing longer version to stand in front of the shorter one in terms of listening preference.  The song’s meaning about overall trustworthiness is a topic that is an obvious under the skin scary that never quite stops lurking.
