I was out in Orland Hills, IL looking for some lunch before doing the dreaded Saturday grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s. I always have my eyes peeled for some new grubery that hasn’t crossed these lips yet whenever I leave the house. There it was on right side of the street! Joey’s Red Hots, Which just opened a few months ago. Already having other locations that were successful, It was no surprised to see another addition. As I walked through the door the ambiance let me know that it had to be tasty. A giant cartoon Hot Dog statue greets you. The menus is super diverse. In some cases that could be a problem, not here.
Order:
Gyro Plater: Feta, Olives, Tzatziki Sauce, Tomatoes, Onions, 2 Pitas- Very good for everything that was included.
Large Fries: Crinkle Cut Fries were tasty.
Deep Fried Zucchini with Ranch: Unique Ranch sauce gave the crispy Zucc its edge.
Chicken Taco with green Verde sauce– I Always need to try a taco no matter where! Big taco with flavor.
Pepsi- Where’s The Coke? All for under 25 dollars. Great deal for all your getting!
I would say head on over to Orland Hills and see what else Joey’s Red Hot’s has cooking. Which includes Pizza, Sandwiches, and Ice Cream all for a great price and from afar looking as if I will be trying them all next next time.
